What Chris teaches
Players learn how to control their body, hold stronger edges, stop with confidence, and move with better posture.
Lessons focus on clean stride mechanics, acceleration, crossovers, transitions, and movement that translates into hockey.
Players build puck confidence, shooting mechanics, protection habits, and decision-making for real game moments.
Meet Coach Chris
Chris Jeter started skating at the age of 6 and grew up competing with roller hockey teams like the Austin Outlaws before finding a dual passion for ice hockey. As a teenager, he began coaching skating lessons for beginners through advanced skaters, learning how to break down skill in a way players can actually feel and repeat.
His coaching journey paused while he welcomed his first child in 2013. Years later, after building a family of three children with his wife, his son found his own interest in hockey at age 11. That moment reignited Chris's passion for the game and for teaching the skill work that gives players confidence.
Today, Chris brings a calm, detail-driven coaching style to skating fundamentals, power skating, stick handling, and the real technique behind every skill. His lessons are built for players who want to understand the why behind the movement, not just run drills.
On the ice
Every session is built around the skater in front of him, whether Chris is cleaning up beginner edges, building power skating habits, or helping a player carry puck skills into real game situations.
